Errors in the Links module

Hello all,

we have upgraded our DNN 3.2.2 portal to 4.80 and moved to a new hosting company.

On my local machine that runs the latest version of the portal, the Links module works fine, opens PDFs, XLS etc.

However, on our new host, the module does not work properly at all. On IE it opens a blank page only and on firefox

it gives the following error:

XML Parsing Error: no element found
Location: http://domain.co.uk/LinkClick.aspx?link=%2fDesktopDefault.aspx%3ftabid%3d223&tabid=66&mid=1392
Line Number 1, Column 1:

Now, instead of pointing only on files, I have created some links that point to pages from my portal, but the problem is still the same!

Any ideas how to have this fixed?

Thanks

Re: Errors in the Links module

I am getting the same error in 4.8.1 when passing parameters in Xmod. I see that you are also passing parameters. I have no problem with exactly the same code in 4.6.2.

On a hosted domain I get the same messages as you describe. When I ran it locally I got the following error, I suspect they are connected. Do you have a resolution yet? If not can anyone else help please?
