an upgrade is required 

 

When I try to install  the links module version 04.00.00 install package from 7/6/2008 I get the following error:

Warning Install aborted - The module being installed is not compatible with your host application version ( an upgrade is required )

 

My DNN Version is 04.08.00
Links module version: 4.00.00
Shared install trust level: medium
OS: Windows version unknown

Anyway to fix this issue?

unfortunately there's an error in the compatible version node in the Modules DNN file. Please see gemini for more info: http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=8137&PROJID=5
