Help with drop down list

Hi guys,

I have a list of links pointing to external URLs.  and I configure it to

open a new window when it goes to that link.   The problem is

it works fine when it's in list form.  But, it doesn't go anywhere

when it's in drop down list.  I notice that when it's in the list form,

no popup block alert appears, but in the dropdownlist form,

a popup blocker alert appears.  Could this be the problem?

and Can someone please help me with this problem?

Thank you very much

Re: Help with drop down list

I am also having a similar issue but I am linking to a pages on my site and trying to display in the current window. It works fine if the links are in list form but when I try the drop down list the only way it works if I am logged in under host. All permissions are set correctly because I am able to use the list form logged in as anybody. Please HELP!

Re: Help with drop down list

My guess is that in the dropdown list format that it is rendering the link as a javascript Window.Open() call which would be captured by a popup blocker.  In link form it is most likely using target="_blank" which does not typically trigger popup blockers.

Re: Help with drop down list

There is something othere that this causing it not to work. It has to be security realated because it works fine if you are logged in as host but it will not work if you are logged in as anything else.
