Re: Module will not link to document

Hi John,

Is it possible that anonymous users do not have permission to view the file(s) in question?

Re: Module will not link to document

Brandon,

I have permissions set on for all users, is that the same as anonymous?
If I turn Dropdown off and select List it works fine for all.
As supper user it works any way at all.

Thanks
John

Re: Module will not link to document

Hi Brandon,

I just checked it now and as an unregistered user the LINKS module file name window is about 2 characters wide the down arrow is there and for some reason the EDIT PENCEL ICON is present. Pressing the downarrow opens a two character wide box, everything else just sounds when clicked, nothing happends. Logging on as super user and module works and looks OK.

Ver 4.05.05

Thanks

Re: Module will not link to document

Hi John,

Sorry for the delay in responding.  For some reason the forum responses do not sort by date propertly and I missed your subsequent posts.

I don't really have much additional insight to offer yet.  What module version are you running?  Is this module instance available publically, such that I might be able to access it?  If so, let me know what link to look at.

The edit pencil and such visibile by anonymous users sounds as if yo umight have assigned edit module-level persmissions to anonymous users.

Brandon
