Upload not working

Hi,

I’m having a problem with the upload function. I’m using the 03.01.13 version with the "niftyVideo" skin. The following problems are occurring and I would like to know how I can fix them.

Problem 1: My settings has upload privileges assigned to all but non-registered users, however the button will intermittently appear when I’m logging in and out between admin and non-registered users view (i.e. sometimes I can see the upload button on non registered user page view). Also more importantly, the upload button does not pull up the upload view page.

Problem 2: I also have on my page a media module that has a video file that will autoplay when the page is loaded. I would like to control the playback so that it only plays when the play button is clicked. There is a problem though between the repository module and the media module on this page in that when I click the upload button on the repository module, it plays the media module file but does not pull up the upload view page.

Problem 3: I have a video file that was assigned a specific category out of a list of 14 when I originally uploaded the file, but by default it appears even when selecting an entirely different category type (i.e. when I select a category other than the one that was assigned during upload, the video file remains on screen, it does not disappear, and the category that is selected does not set, it is automatically replaced by the “All” category).

Could this be due to not having other files in the file manager? I’m testing the repository module, so at the moment I only have one video file in my file manager.

Problem 4: I’m unable to figure out how to delete a video file from within the repository screen (i.e. I can delete from the file manager, but there’s no button on the admin view that will allow for file deletion). Am I missing something?

Lastly, In the DNN for Dummies book Part 3 chapter 8 page 221, there was a skin called "Video Library" listed as the last skin in the list, I can't seem to find this option in my repository version. Has niftyVideo replaced this skin? If not, where can I find it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Arman.
