How To Change Visit Label

Hi,

I love the new URLCONTROLEFILE options.  They're making my life a ton easier on this new project of mine.  I do have a hair-brained question.

Is there away I can change the DOWNLOAD token label ( Down or Visit ) for a selected template?  The reason is I have a mix of DOWN and VISIT depending on how I link to the file.

I love this new URLCONTROLFILE and URLCONTROLIMAGINE feature.

Steve you've really done an amazing job with this.

Re: How To Change Visit Label

Hi Ben
How is it working now? I believe the label should be smart enough to know whether its a file ( in which case it would be DOWNLOAD ) or a URL ( in which case it would be VISIT )

Are you saying it's not working that way? or do you want the label to be the same regardless of whether it's a file or link?

Re: How To Change Visit Label

Hi Steve,

You're right the program is smart enough to know if it is a file or a url.  Is there anyway to trick it?

Here is my crazy example:
I have a file listing, but some of the files are files and some are actually urls.  Is there away I can trick the component that renders the DOWNLOAD or VISIT label?  It doesn't have to be fancy, just always replace it with hard coded value like Try Now! or something corny like that?

It has been awhile since I've worked on my templates and I have to stay the last few builds have been out of this world.  I've only ran into that one issue with the Treeview, which you said a fix is coming soon for.  For all of my sites, I use the Repository module for everything you can imagine.  Can't say enough, great job.

Re: How To Change Visit Label

the label, regardless of whether it's a file or link is localized. so I believe you should be able to just edit the resource file and change both keys to the same value

Log in as HOST, go to Host > Languages > Edit and you will be able to edit the localised version (works well on my website).
