Text with 'Tick' marks 

When I try to upload an article that contains apostrophes, the text either does not get inserted into the database correctly (it gets cut off at the first 'tick' mark) or it is not being returned to the module at runtime correctly.  Either way, this behavior is highly undesireable.  What would be the fix for that?  It does not seem to occur with other modules.

What do you mean by "a text with tickmark" ???
The FILENAME or the text inside the file itself ????
