Latest version of Repository restricts tio image files only. Are you kidding?

We are using the repository module on many sites and for the most part they have worked ( Some upload and moderate functions never worked properly.) We have just upgraded to the latest version and now suddenly it is impossible to upload files other than images. Why  the restriction.?

The Repository Module can be used to store a collection of files, images, links or text on a server running the DotNetNuke® framework. In addition to storing basic object information, the Repository module also allows you to store detailed information such as author name and email address, a summary and/or a detailed description, file size and download counts and provides community features such as a User Rating system and User Comments.""

Please change that right away. It is not a picture repository it is a file repository.  If I am wrong, please let me know how to change the settings.

Hi,

I use the Repository module ( beta build forward ) to store zip and exe files.

Are you getting an error when trying to upload the file?  Also are you filtering file types out at the DNN site level?

Do you use Oracle?  Then try GoldFish.Net

Get it from CNET Download.com!

Re: Latest version of Repository restricts tio image files only. Are you kidding?

There are NO restrictions on what you can upload with the Repository module.

"now suddenly it is impossible to upload files other than images"

if you were to provide a little more detail in what you are seeing and what is happening, then perhaps someone here can help you

Re: Latest version of Repository restricts tio image files only. Are you kidding?

Furthermore to this thread:

I was able to upload a different file type by using Skin : Filelist.

However, when using this skin there is NO drop down menu for categories nor is there a Search Field.

With possibly hundreds of documents, files and pictures in this repository, how do you find a file ?

Please advise?

Thank you.
