Re: HOW TO: Making code changes and recompiling Repository 3.X

I don't have VS 2003, only VS 2005.  BUT I have the repository module 4.03.00.  So can I use VS 2005 to do this?  If not, is there a way to get VS 2003, or am I just unable to add my fields?

THanks!

Re: HOW TO: Making code changes and recompiling Repository 3.X

the latest Repository version is 3.01.14 ( I think you're confusing the Repository version with the DotNetNuke version ).  There is no way to make a code change with VS 2005 unless you convert the whole module. Unfortunately the module will not convert cleanly because of core changes, so you will end up with about 100 or so errors that you will have to correct. So, without VS 2003, there's no easy way to do what you want.
