Default Value = 1 week from today

I'm trying to create a field (DateTime) whose default value is 7 days from today.  I've tried [DateTime:Now]+7, but get an error when I try to add a record.

Can anyone offer some suggestions?

Re: Default Value = 1 week from today

you need to convert to ticks for calculations using appropriate Tokens and hidden field (myField_UDT_Ticks)

Re: Default Value = 1 week from today

Sebastian, the request is a bit more difficult.

Ticks are working perfect for filtering, but that request is about default values.

UDT supports TokenReplace for default values, but no expressions like in Calculated columns or for filtering. Even if expressions would be supported here, the default value needs to be a date (or a correct localized string) again.

I think the correct answer is: Sorry, it is not possible.

Re: Default Value = 1 week from today
