Add up column values based on a checkbox

Is it possible to have a list of items with prices and a check box next to each. When the user clicks the check box it adds or subtracts from a GRAND TOTAL field at the end ?

Any pointers ?

Thanks

Re: Add up column values based on a checkbox

there is no support for a sum row in grid view, you may use a running sum in a calculated column per row, but anything else is not supported, maybe using XSL - Stefan?

Re: Add up column values based on a checkbox

I know it's not excel and I'm not looking for anything super complicated. It just needs to total values.

This can be done quite simply by using some javascript. I have setup the page manually here :

http://www.africatmarine.com/Africat420/PricesandOptions/tabid/149/Default.aspx

However this is all in HTML & Javascript. UDT would make it much easier for the customer to edit and add to.

Is there any way we could add some javascript into UDT to do this ?

Dynamic forms does do it but it is very complicated for the end user to edit. Does anyone else have any ideas of an easy way to do this without writing a whole new module.
