UDT and Syndication
Hi,

I've been using the UDT for a couple of days to it's working brilliantly.

However I would like to display the contents on of the UDT on another site using RSS. In the RSS feed for the UDT it sets the title of the module as the title tag of all the items in the feed. I would like the feed to display the contents of the first column in the item-title tags of the feed. Currently it merges the contents of the first column with the other columns into the description tag.

Can it be done? Anyone have any ideas how? Do I need to re-jig my xsl template?

It's kind of hard to explain my problem. My feed can be seen here Notice "online research" the title for the module is repeated.

Thank you for your help Tricky101

Re: UDT and Syndication

In all DNN modules, RSS support is done via the iSearcheable interface, i.e. using the search information provided by the module per record. Due to its generic character, UDT uses module title as name for the search entry and adds all text fields as record content.

For your purposes, you will need to modify the iSearcheable implementation of UDT.
