Unsupported Filter Statement for UDT filter: [Created by] = [User:DisplayName]

Does anyone know how to set up a UDT filter statement to only show records for the logged in user? Currently when I use:

[Created by] = [User:DisplayName]

I get the message:

Unsupported Filter Statement

try either [CreatedBy] = [User:DisplayName]

or [Created by_UDT_Original] = [User:Username]

Re: Unsupported Filter Statement for UDT filter: [Created by] = [User:DisplayName]

Hi,

Just wanted to add that the name of a column in a filter is the displayed name of the column. Ex. if you have changed the Title into another language, you should use that new title in the filter expression. Here in Danish.

[Oprettet af] = '[User:DisplayName]'

Also you need the quotes on the [User:DisplayName] because its a text field.

BTW, This is not such a good idea really - is it ?  What will happen in a multilanguage environment then ?

I think it is a good idea as UDT does not multi language. You always declare both field column titles and the content inside in one single language.
