Re: Building XML Module

XML_03.03.02_Source.zip does contain resources.zip, that holds the sln file.

XML_04.03.03_Source.zip is the same as XML_04.03.03_Install.zip, as this is an ASP2.0 WSP module, that can be opened directly in VS 2005, see the tutorials at dotnetnuke.adefwebserver.com.

Re: Building XML Module

Sebastian,

'...as this is an ASP2.0 WSP module' - do you mean WAP?  I'm not sure what you mean by a WSP module.  Man, have I been away from DNN that long?  Gotta, get moving, huh.

Thanks for the info, and your very gratious, and prompt replies.  All help is appreciated.

Re: Building XML Module

Phil,

WSP is just the opposite of WAP. WAP was introduced in VS2005 SP1 as successor of VS2003 projects, while WSP omits the solution file and takes all files in the folder as part of your project.

Re: Building XML Module

Ah, a little light is shining.  I'm just now downloading the support files for the WAP, and updates to VS 2005.  Somehow, all will be revealed in time, huh.  I didn't see anything on Michael's site show WSP, but I probably missed it.  Thanks, again.  So, much to do, but we'll keep moving forward with the community's help - especially yours.  Thanks.

All his DNN4 modules not marked as WAP are build in WSP mode.
