Couldn't read the type...

I just installed the new XML_03.03.00_Install.zip file. When I tried to start DNN (without debugging) I recieved the following error:

Error 1 Couldn't read the type
DotNetNuke.Modules.XML.Entities.Parameters.ParameterEditor. C:\Documents and Settings\Tomas\Mina dokument\DNN\DesktopModules\XML\ParameterEditor.ascx 2

<%

What has gone wrong?

Tomas

Re: Couldn't read the type...

Whow, the new release is not even announced and I get the first error report.

Tomas, please provide me with some more information:

  • Which DotNetNuke version are you running?
  • Did you install the module the common way (using host->modules?)
  • What do you mean by trying to start DNN (without debugging)?

All you need to install the module is a running DotNetNuke with a version greater/equal 3.30 (4.3.0) and your favourite internet browser.

forms & Lists (UDT5.0) will be the next major release of the User Defined Table project.
A first Preview is available, though it requires DotnetNuke 5 (Beta 5).

Re: Couldn't read the type...

Does your error happens inside VS2005? Or inside your browser?

Feel free to contact me via mail for a quick solution.

Modified By Tomas Alsbro on 1/25/2007 6:30:15 AM)

Stefan,

The error occur in VS2005. After loading DNN in VS2005 I start "without debugging" in the debugging menu. VS2005 then report teh error.

I don't have your email, and couldn't find it here in DotNetNuke.com.

Tomas

Ooopss- I didn't noticed your email adress until to late...
