Re: Proxy issue using XML/XSL module

Daniele,

I tested the following settings some minutes ago:

  • local DotnetNuke installation, running dnn4.5.3 and xml 4.3.4.
  • xml module consumes rss feed from dotnetnuke.com, works fine
  • route delete 0.0.0.0 , no more default route to the internet. I am unable to get to google and co from my browsers
  • xml module stopps working
  • set up the proxy inside dnn-> to use our ISA server as proxy (without authentification)
  • xml module works again

So I am not able to reproduce your problem, it is working for me. Can it be a problem with your local firewall on your windows server?

Re: Proxy issue using XML/XSL module

Hi Stefan

I've now cleared the proxy issue, but I've now a strange situation.

If I specify the XML location inside the DNN file system "portals\0\......" the XSL transformations works fine.

If I specify the same XML file via a HTTP://...... this doesn't give me any data.

In the old XML/XSL module I used to specify XML and XSL via HTTP and this was working, now, if I specify just XML like HTTP request, keeping XSL file indicated in the file system this doesn't give me any record displayed.

Do you have any suggestion?

Thanks in advance for your help

Regards

Daniele
