Re: XML module not working after upgrade to 4.7
Modified By Daniele Bernotti on 11/14/2007 5:07:03 AM)

Hi

I upgraded to 4.7 few days ago, my DNN si in a webfar (broadcas config, not single UNC).  This morning all the feeds I have on Intranet/portal pages disappeared. I still don't uderstand why today because the upgrade has been completed last week.....

I saw this thread and I specified a timeout in Host definition / Proxy (before was empty). Now my feeds (provided like URL) are back on the pages.
I don't know why this happened, but.... for other guys that my experience this problem....

There is something related with the AD provider and XML/SSL module.
in the process upgrade from 4.5.5 to 4.7, initialy I got the same error with no xsl transformations.
Step 1: upgraded from 4.5.5 -> 4.7.0 connected like host I had the XSL trasformation operational
Step 2: installed AD provider from DNN 4.7 package, HOST and AD users unable to see the XSL transformation.

Step 3: restored filesystem & database back to 4.5.5
Step 4: upgraded to 4.6.2 with host HOST trasformation ok
Step 5: installed AD provider from DNN 4.6.2 package, HOST and AD users OK to see the XSL transformation.
Step 6: upgraded to 4.7.0 HOST and AD users OK to see the XSL transformation.

This morning the pain, looks solved vith the proxy settings. I don't know if this may have a "logic" reason, but I think Stefan may have an idea of what's happening with the new DNN 4.7.0

Thanks again for your support Stefan!!!

Daniele
