Available Tokens
Is there a list of portal tokens (username, date, time, etc) that can be used by this module?

I would like to use them in an XSL to (for axample) map out a server path that includes the current user's username.

Thanks!

Re: Available Tokens

Interesting, so maybe a two stage transform:

  1) Dynamically build an XSL file with replacements for the common DNN token....Username, PortalName, TabName, etc..., and then

  2) Current implementation of a static XSL file.

I've thought a number of the common extensions of other modules (HTML and such...) are possibly more XSL transforms anyway...

Re: Available Tokens
While that would certainly work, after doing some research (admittedly only scratching the surface so far) it would seem that a better implimentation would be to extend XSLT to have a dnn: namespace with internal objects

It appears that the XML/XSL module uses the internal .NET libraries to do the transforms, so this should be as 'simple' as adding the appropriate namespace, internal DNN objects and invoking AddExtensionObject before the transform.

I'd be interested in helping out if it goes down that road... :)

Re: Available Tokens
I would like to pursue these ideas further - A little write up from either of you about what you are looking for in the module as well as any implementation ideas could get us started.

Let me know if there is still interest.

Re: Available Tokens
Yes, I'm still interested.

I'll write something up, but this week is crazy, and next week is ony marginally better.

I'll get something to you as soon as I can. :)

Thanks!
