Install DNN as additional instance in the same server 

Hi,

Can I have additional instance of DNN in the same IIS server and SQL server...?  I want a test environment and live environment in the same server. I cannot go for a new server box. Can any one provide the link for document or any help please..?

you can have complete separate  DNN installations in multiple web sites of your IIS (Windows 2000, 2003 or Vista).

Hi sebastin,

thank u, I created a separate web site in my IIS. I copied all the DNN folders into a new folder and specified it in the home page. I also created separate database and assosiated it using the web.config file.  I did all the settings as by original site including security permission. But I cannot able to browse the new site, as I am getting 'Http 404: file not found error'

Check the IIS site to see if default.aspx is listed in the documents tab of the website.
