error = Name 'Config' is not declared 

When using the installer utility everything goes smoothly until web starts the i get this error Name 'Config' is not declared and here is the whole thing

as i am new to this just wondering if someone could point me in the right direction

Go to IIS and go to your website's properties., then make sure that under the ASP.net tab you have selected .net framework 2.0

error: Namespace or type specified in the Imports doesn't contain 

Hi Every 1

I have installed the Blogs Module in my new website though module upgrade wizard but, i am geting this error after installation

error:  Namespace or type specified in the Imports Dotnetnuke doesn't contain any public member or cannot found. even though i have dotnetnuke.dll file in my bin folder.

I removed the dotnetnuke.dll and added from working library still it is showing the same problem. Can any one faced the same problem, Please help

I was aslso suffering with this problem then i did following

As .NET 2 websites do not have a project file, these default Imports statements have been moved to the web.config file.
eg
       
Thus if release.config has not been copied/renamed to web.config, the compiler will not be able to find the "Config" class, as the project does not have an Imports statement referencing the correct namespace..
