I wanted to announce that I have just finished packaging the DotNetNuke Install Utility for version 4.4.1.

I am now looking for Beta Testers (A.K.A Guinea Pigs), so please contact me if you are interested in taking it for a spin.

While I work on the next generation of the installer I will continue to package every new release of DotNetNuke in the current format - which is already great!

Please post any issues related to the installer on the project forum and/or the Issue Log.

Hi!

 My name is Zoltan so I'm  an other Guinea Pig for your installer. I have quiet a lot of problems with the installer, but that dosen't meen any "quality controll". I'm absolutely not an IT specialist, it is my first time with DNN. I tried to install it as instucted, the installer downloads the required components properly, JUST: when I try to go on installing, the installer after changeing the file permissions, during creating the website suddenly sends an error message. Message: Part of the insallation failed. Click ok to remove partial installation.

I constantly clicked next during the procedure till getting the error message.

Please help me, I dont have a clue in IT stuffs but I'd like to use DNN.
