Well, I tried the installer you have sent. Bad news. It haven't worked. it wants to install constantly the msql 2005 express, even if it is installed. But now the error msg is sent at the end of the process, when building up the database, so rigth afer the creating the website status. error msg is the same.

I thnik it would be better to try the installation on a "totaly virgin" computer. I think i'll try it. maybe it will work.
If not I would like to try it manualy. Ewery component is downloaded by the installer, but I dont have a clue how to do it. Would you help me in this.

Just got back into active participation with DNN.  As a former Core Member, I can tell you that the effort here on this project is going to greatly impact DNN users of all levels.  I'll gladly test the installer, and submit some feedback, may be a tad late for this version, but future ones I will test as well. 

I can't tell you how many questions I've answered related to installation issues, on my old website, and in the forums, and this kind of utility is so overdue - not knocking this project, I just mean we've needed a utilitiy like this for a long time.  Another guy created a very good one that I've used many times, and not sure if he was part of this dev.   Anyway, thanks for your efforts.
