after installation site loads forever looping 

Hi there,

I installed the DotNetNuke 4.8.2 fresh in a ISP hosting server. Installation successful.

Hoewver when I clicked on [access your Portal] link it loaded forever without error message.

If I loaded the site using Safari, it displayed "Safari can’t open the page. Too many redirects occurred trying to open “http://69.20.228.41/test/Default.aspx?tabid=36”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page."

I checked the PortalAlise it is correct having the URL.

Any suggestions? Thank yo in advance.

Hey tfs,

Which DNN package (source or install) did you use -- and which configuration file did you use (release, development) ?

This may be related to the trust level set in your web.config file.

It is also possible to have a UrlRwrite Rule in your SiteUrls.config file to cause this.  However, unless you created that file ahead of time, this does not appear to be your solution.

 Finally problem solved.

In web.config, comment out the following line. Then the load forever problem is solved.

<add name="ScriptModule" type="System.Web.Handlers.ScriptModule, System.Web.Extensions, Version=1.0.61025.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35" />
