We've just configured a streaming video server ( Windows Media Server 9 Series ) in our infrastructure and are dabbling with providing some media access to enhance the experience of folks checking out DotNetNuke.  You can see our first implementation here:

Naturally, we have some things to work out... for example the original high resolution video does not scale down well.  And we'll be experimenting a little with our bandwidth constraints and how many concurrent streams we'll need to support.  But all in all, it is nice to add this capability.

Currently we are using the Inventua Media Player for DNN.  However, in the continuing spirit of "eating our own dogfood", upon release of the DotNetNuke® Image Project ( converting soon to "Media Project" ) we will switch that out.  Thank you ( Anthony Glenwright ) for use of your fine module in the interim.
