Site restart 10/12 

The site was interrupted for approximately 1 minute this morning at 6:20 AM PST for an application restart.

This restart was required to clear an infrequent error condition.  This condition manifests itself infrequently by displaying an error message on the forums page when viewed by anonymous users (it works fine for authenticated users).  It is (as yet) unclear what the source of this condition is (we've been unable to replicate it, reliably) as it only appears under moderate / heavy load and then only after extended uptime.
