I know there was a bug in the 4.4.3 version that it wasn't paying attention to the host caching level (moderate, heavy, etc.) that became a problem on busy sites here such as dotnetnuke.com. Unless your site is very active, it shouldn't be a big problem though. How is caching handled and where is it stored via host settings?

I'm running DNN 4.8, and it is a pretty active site.

 Page State Persistence: Page
Module Caching Method: Memory
Performance Setting: Heavy
Authenticated Cacheability: ServerAndNoCache
Compression Setting: No Compression

You may want to try storing module caching on disk.
