how to hide User Profile Items

Hello,
i have a little problem with the forum user profile. If a user goes to the senders name and looks at the senders profile. the profile allways shows the email of all users. How can i hide the email? In the users profile properties show email is unchecked, but email is not hidden.

Thanks

Ralf

Re: how to hide User Profile Items

Hello Ralf,

the E-Mail of the Profile is only viewed to admin users.  We know there is a issue with the view.  But it is a issue, that the E-Mail of the Forum profile is always only viewed to admins.   I have checked your website,  and the E-mail of you are not viewed to me.  But the MSN settings, what is not E-mail.  If this setting is the same as your E-mail this is not a problem by the Forum.

Matthias

Re: how to hide User Profile Items

Hello Matthias,
thank you for your replay. I have found the error. This was not on my site. It was on an other site hosted by me.
The error was to uncheck the edit rights of the module. These were checked by default. After i unchecked them, the email was hidden.
Thank you very much!
