Editing the Welcome Message

Hello there,

I was wondering if there was a way to edit the Welcome Message that has the Host and Admin password on it. If someone is to create a new portal and that message is the default they would know your host password although I have already changed it just knowing the username is host is a start.

Thanks in advance

Peace

Dennis

Re: Editing the Welcome Message

This is not a general forums area, it is for the DotNetNuke Core Forums module.  That being said I will attempt to answer your question.  That is just text in a text/html module installed by default.  You can use the portal templates to adjust the default content of an install to pretty much anything you want.  This is left up to the original end user.  To be honest with you, since the way the portal is installed it, the host should install and change the password right then and there anyways.

Thanks for your reply however I was asking where that text is located? I want to edit it so it's custom when a new portal is created.

Thanks in advance
