Is this only on this page on this site?  We have done some db tests and the forum queries are not even in the top 10 of the slowest db issues on dnn.com.  (Not too bad on here considering there is a decent amount of data)

With that said... How does DNN handle high traffic?  I have a site that has about 700,000 page views a month.  Can DNN handle this kind of load and still be responsive?

The capacity of an application is determined by a number of different factors such as cpu, ram, database server, application server, number of sites etc., so I can't give you a hard and fast rule, but dotnetnuke.com has 2 million page views a month (and growing), and for a long time ran under the MaximumASP VSP account (http://www.maximumasp.com/content.aspx/P-BA) . I think we're now moved to a dedicated server, but DNN will scale as long as you provide sufficent hardware.
