private forums "disappear"

I am having issues with some of my private forums on a website.  For some reason, they seem to disappear when ever they want.  It ends up missing for all authorized roles whom should be able to view the forums.  There is no error that shows with this.  It seems when I restart the application that they re-appear, but I should not have to keep doing that.  Any ideas?

Re: private forums "disappear"

Are you using anything 3rd party that works with the forum data? I don't know of any issues involving this unless the permissions aren't setup properly.

Re: private forums "disappear"

I have been having this issue for a while also.  It works for a while, then disaapears... When I move the forum to a new page, it works again for a while.  It isnt the permissions, it is definatly some sort of bug with the forums, as there are about 10 other threads claiming the same thing, and have just been ignored.  Can we please get a fix or at least some sort of effort on it.

Crispy, I think we talked in a older forum, but im just going to PM you the log in info to my site where u can see whats happening, and let you go in and look at it, since you seem to be only one remotly interested.

Re: private forums "disappear"

The only other modules running on the forums page is the "Latest Posts" "Top Threads" and "Top Posters".  And it is only the Private forums that are disappearing, does not matter what roles are assigned to it, or if it is moderated or anything like that...   I thank you Crispy in advance for any help you can offer.  This is becoming a tedious job keeping an eye on the forums and restarting the website when the forums go missing.
