Re: Edit Forum issue after upgrade from 3.20.09 to 4.4.3

I appreciate the insight but you lost me.  When I was pre 4.8 everything worked fine, I upgrade to 4.8 and now it's broken.  The only thing that changed is the version of dnn.  I was on 4.4.3 before I upgraded to 4.8 dnn.  Is the installation of dnn the problem?  If I have to manually fix it, what do I need to fix?  The installation of dnn or the forums?

Thank you again for your assistance,

Jim

Is there any update on this? My forums are still broken. Is upgrading to 4.8.2 a solution? Thank you, Jim

Re: Edit Forum issue after upgrade from 3.20.09 to 4.4.3

A upgrade to DNN 4.8.2 I think will not solve this problem.  But the Upgrade is recommanded to solve some other issues.  I am not sure if it is a core issue or a module issue at time.  I can not reproduce the issue on my test systems here.  I do not know of the settings on your instance for the IIS and the folders, and I have no knowledge about your database installation at time.  Also some earlier issus can caused some problems and I do not know about it.

Re: Edit Forum issue after upgrade from 3.20.09 to 4.4.3

Hi,

I still cannot edit my forums - I have run the SQL script to insert the list values, and my Forum Perms seem to be correct, yet I still get the :

Any other ideas please? I have cleared my cache and restarted the app but to no avail.
