Please type the word with spces, so we can read it.  pehaps it is filtered by the wordfilter.

Re: subject line disappers if the word " ? "

I think the forum protects itself against some forms of attack by stripping certain content from posts.  I believe these filters are in addition to any filtered words you may have set up in your wordfilter.

For example; one of my users recently tried to post a link that included a query parameter "...?referer=a l e r t..." (remove spaces to read) it failed fairly horribly - breaking the layout of the post in the forum.

I'm sure it stripped the word 'a l e r t' because that word is used in 'j a v a s c r i p t'; another word I am sure it strips.

Best wishes,

Re: subject line disappers if the word " ? "

That is exactly right.  The word was a l e r t or any variation thereof.  I do not have any words in my word filter.  Can this behavior be fixed?  Really, there shouldn't be any plain text entries that "Breaks" what users post to a forum, that kind of defeats the purpose of a textarea box.  We are actually using the forum to track a l e r t s, so nearly every other post has that word.  I'm even willing to loose some functionality if I can post these common words.  HELP!
