The DotNetNuke Forum Module is written for the DotnetNuke Portal Application.  If you want to use it in a other application you have to rewrite the sourcecode.

For using the DNN Forum Module in a DotNetNuke portal you can download a manaul from the Forum - Project Forum - Download page.

The Forum Module needs to develope VS 2005 Pro SP1 with WAP installed.  It is written in VB. There are a lot features that using the DotNetNuke Framework, thise features are not part of the ASP.NET.  So you have modifying the source Code to your project.  I can not teach you to make this changes.
