Resolved/Unresolved Icons in Forum Module

What do you mean the 'template folder of the forum'? Is this on the Nuke site or where on my Host/Admin access can I see where to change these icons?

Thanks

Jennifer

Re: Resolved/Unresolved Icons in Forum Module

It is on the basic folder, it is not accassable over the DNN Foldermanager!  If you login to your hosting via ftp you see a folder DesktopModules and if you have installed the Forum mOdule you find there the subfolder Forum.

Re: Resolved/Unresolved Icons in Forum Module

I'm not sure of the original question for this post, but I've also had a problem with the "Unresolved" icon not being available, and this post was the only one that came up in Google.

Basically, I'd upgraded from a much older forum, and having done so, most icons had suddenly vanished.  The solution was to change the default graphics file extension to "png".   This was how I did this:

  1. Open the "Admin" menu (in the standard DNN way).
  2. Select "General Settings"
  3. Expand "Forum User Interface"
  4. Under "Theme Image Extension", change "gif" to "png".

This solved my problem, and the icons reappeared - as if by magic!  May not be relevant to your issue, but hope it's of help to someone.

Re: Resolved/Unresolved Icons in Forum Module

I tink the first post is they want cange the icon not the file format.  Otherwise it is recomand to read the manual.  It solved some questions in administartion and changes since Forum 3.x versions.
