.png logo forum module bug

When a site logo is in the .png format and you add the forum module a page, the logo only shows in design mode on the page. Logo will display normal on other pages, but not on a page with the forum module.

Re: .png logo forum module bug

It's on your skin.  Check your skin for a javascript fix about transparency image view and delete it.

Re: .png logo forum module bug

I have try it with the default DNN skin, and at time with the Forum 4.4.5 Beta.  The Side Logo is viewed there without issues on edit, view and design.  So I can't reproduce your issue.

I do dot understand your post " I am using a default skin?"  If I understand it, that you ask you have to use a default skin, then I say yes.  About then the issue is not on DNN or the DNN Forum Module.  Then the issue is on the vendor of the skin!  Then he have give a fix to you.

Re: .png logo forum module bug

Sorry I am a DNN newbie as you can tell. I have found with default skins that when the logo is a .png file, the logo does not display on pages with the forum module unless you are in design mode. This is not a big deal I reverted to a .gif. Would like to undertand and be able to use .png logo.

thank you for taking the time to respond
