Safari support?

Is the forum supposed to support Safari? When you try to post with safari the default is "Rich Text Editor" which doesnt show up in Safari. When you try to post with it set to that the page just reloads with a blank text box and your text is gone. If you choose the "Basic Text Editor" it works fine (but thats not clear to people on Safari). Any way to fix this or is it a bug?

Re: Safari support?

It's not a issue of the Forum.  The Forum uses the installed Text/Html Editor Provider, the standard on DNN is the FCK-Editor Provider.

Re: Safari support?

As mentioned above this is an issue with the core and the TextEditor control.

The only fix I have found so far is to use a different editor provider.  The Telerik editor appears to work just fine.

Re: Safari support?

another option is to update the FCKEditor itself, please check out the FCKEditor Provider forum here to get the necessary instructions.
