How to post a Forum issue at Gemini

Dear Forum Team,

I am relatevely new to Gemini, and though I have already posted a few issues at the Public Tracker for the core, I cannot find where to post an issue for the modules, and I have one for the Forum Module.

I will lay it down here, but if you please tell me where it is better for you, I will appreciate and follow your directions.

The issue is related to a non-localizable text. The text is "Show No Replies" and it is located under the Search Box (upper right corner, threads list view), such as in this link.

That text is also related to this other text "Show All".
I could not find those strings inside any of the *.resx files.

Thank you very much!

Saludos,
Alejandro.

Re: How to post a Forum issue at Gemini

Hi Alejandro,

Reporting an issue with a module is almost identical to reporting one for the core.  All incoming issues (both core and module-specific) are reporting through the "DNN Core Framework *Public*".  The only difference is that you'll need to select which module and module version are affected through the "Module Version Reported In" dropdown.

I agree that the submission of module-specific issues through the "DNN Core Framework *Public*" project is a little confusing.

Hope this helps!

Brandon

Re: How to post a Forum issue at Gemini

Hi Brandon,

Thank you for your indications. I have already posted this issue at the Public Issue Tracker (Gemini).

The thing that got me confused is that I had to choose the 'Core Modules' option in order to post the issue. Perhaps the 'Core' part of this menu item should be reconsidered ;-)

Thank you again!

Saludos,

Alejandro.

Hi Alejandro,

I completely agree!  I recall finding that very confusing once upon a time as well.

Re: How to post a Forum issue at Gemini

All issues from DNN Core and DNN Projects have to post to the DNN Core Framework (Public) if you are not a member of the project team.  It is a basic issue track witch is handled by a qualiity assurance team.
