Delete Own Posts

Hi

How do I set up my DNN messageboard so that users can delete their own posts or set the post to expire after a length of time?

Re: Delete Own Posts

Please read the user manual for Forum 4.4.x !    On none restrict posts the user can delete there own posts, additional there are a way to set delete permission in the Forum Manager.

OK- makes sense, but where do I find this manual?  Our installation of DNN is hosted for us on a remote server and there is no 'online help' with the forum module.  TIA :)

Re: Delete Own Posts

OK- Ive had a look at the setup guide but I still cant see how you would allow users to delete or expire thier own posts, the implication from it is that users can either individually or as a member of an  AD group would need to have moderator rights on the entire forum which I do not want to do.

I'm assuming this is controlled through the forum control panel somewhere, but for the life of me cant find where the heck this is.
