Re: Strange Issue with forums

Thank you again Matthias, I suspected that might be the case. I'm more familiar with LAN and WAN networking technologies than with Web hosting etc. I believe you can figure out the Post id from the URL, correct? If so ... the end of the URL is postid/365/Default.aspx which I presume to mean that the ID is 365.

If that is how you can find the post ID, let me know and I'd be willing to give the script a try.

Re: Strange Issue with forums

I get an error:

System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Invalid object name 'dbo.ForumPosts'. at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlConnection.OnError(SqlException exception, Boolean breakConnection) at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlInternalConnection.OnError(SqlException exception, Boolean breakConnection) at System.Data.SqlClient.TdsParser.ThrowExceptionAndWarning(TdsParserStateObject stateObj) at System.Data.SqlClient.TdsParser.Run(RunBehavior runBehavior, SqlCommand cmdHandler, SqlDataReader dataStream, BulkCopySimpleResultSet bulkCopyHandler, TdsParserStateObject stateObj) at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlCommand.RunExecuteNonQueryTds(String methodName, Boolean async) at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlCommand.InternalExecuteNonQuery(DbAsyncResult result, String methodName, Boolean sendToPipe) at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlCommand.ExecuteNonQuery() at DotNetNuke.Data.SqlDataProvider.ExecuteADOScript(String SQL) at DotNetNuke.Data.SqlDataProvider.ExecuteScript(String Script, Boolean UseTransactions) /**** Start Script ***/ Delete From dbo.ForumPosts where PostID = 365

I tried it with the comments and without and got similar errors each time. (And I did have the checkbox flagged)

Well sorry, go back I missing a "_" in the script.  I edit it in the post above, please retry it.  Is the better way about other users do then not copy the wrong code.
