Blank Forum Sections, Missing Threads

Hey everyone,

I seem to be having an issue with a DNN site, more specifcally the forum. I have noticed that certain sections of the forum will suddenly vanish. For instance the section "Suspension and Handling" that is located at http://azs10.com/Forum/tabid/55/Default.aspx will suddenly say "None" for the last poster for threads when there were threads there the day before. I have restored multiple times which replaces the missing threads but this is starting to drive me a little crazy here with how they keep vanishing. The entire forum does not break, but just a part ends up going blank for some reason. If I look directly in the database the content for the forum threads are still there but still the forum shows "None" for the last poster for the threads. If some one can clue me in on what I may be missing or what I should be looking for it would be greatly appreciated.

P.S.

I have restored the forum yet again, hopefully this time it will last a little longer. I don't see anything funny in the logs but may not be looking correctly.

Re: Blank Forum Sections, Missing Threads

this sounds like a load issue, we experienced a few times on this site as well. DNN 4.8.5 will have a number of caching improvements to avoid it but besides you should make sure, that your server is able to handle the number of users without problems.

Re: Blank Forum Sections, Missing Threads

Well it very well could be as that is the busier site, but I do run more then one site on the same server and only one site has experienced this issue which is what made me feel that it may be something else. I will watch for the 4.8.5 to come out so I can update as soon as it is available and will try with that to see if any difference can be made. I appreciate the input and if anyone else has any ideas or suggestions for improving the performance on just one site's forums since it only affects the one site I would appreciate the input.
