Firefox and DNN Forum
The forum menu has a transparent background in Firefox until you mouse-over an item.  This makes white text on light-silver background, impossible to read.
The Insert Smiley button wraps to two lines so Smiley can't be seen.
The popups on some of the Admin pages don't work, forumpopup.js has a problem:
Error: targetControl.parentElement has no properties
Source File: http://intranet/DesktopModules/Forum/Popup/forumpopup.js
Line: 48
I'd like to see more emphasis on cross-browser compatability.
I'm running DNN on an intranet and our network policies restrict most users from using IE for security/spyware reasons and installs Firefox.  So 98% of the browser hits will be Firefox.

The greatest and the least among men have this in common: a high priority vigorously pursued.

Re: Firefox and DNN Forum

I've spent over 40 hours since last release working on this matter.

The background item was in Gemini and is fixed.

The insert Smiley button style is completely diferent already, but certain items like this are not necessarily a DNN/Firefox issue.  These buttons are affected, along with the rest of the layout depending on forum theme and editor width.

Re: Firefox and DNN Forum
I found a few display issues that can be fixed (or at least improve the visual aspect) fairly easily by making changes to the forum skin's .css file.

First, the background image for the "Last Post" column does not show up. Second, the rating drop down box and the "Rate" label is wrapped so that the drop down appears below the "Rate" text. To fix :

TD.Forum_HeaderRight, .Forum_HeaderRight
{
    font-weight: bold;
    font-size: 8pt;
    color: #ff9900;
    font-family: Tahoma;
    letter-spacing: 1px;
    background-color: #006699;
    background: url('Images/header_bg.gif') repeat-x top left;
    padding-top: 0; padding-bottom: 0;
    white-space: nowrap;
}

Next, the buttons look pretty bad in FireFox, so I made these adjustments to allow IE to show the way it always does, and the FireFox buttons look a little better because the buttons are higher and button label is vertically centered :

.Forum_NavBarButton  {
    background: url('Images/linkbutton_bg.gif') repeat-x bottom center;
    padding: 4px 5px 3px 5px;
    text-align: center;
    height: 18px;
    width: 70px;
    font-family: Tahoma;
    font-size: 11px;
    font-weight: normal;
    filter:progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Shadow(color='DimGray', Direction=135, Strength=3) ;
}

I'll post any other issues I find here.
