Re: Avatar issue?
I think it would be a huge improvement if the Avatars and Smileys were made an integral part of the forum, instead of having to use the Gallery for it. Avatars shouldn't be any more complicated than specifying an upload folder and max dimensions in the forum admin settings, and a little upload dialog in the user's setiings. For Smileys why not just activate FTB's built-in smileys button? It would really simplify things for both users and developers alike.

Re: Avatar issue?

If the galleries are not enabled, how can you expect to see them?

Re: Avatar issue?

I don't think that is the case.  First off, the current gallery needs to change to be more secure.  This will require it using the DNN File Manager and no more custom upload mechanism.  That being said, the attachments should be broken into more of a provider type area that is just pointed to another area controlled by the file manager.

FTB's build in smiley buttons?  I know nothing of this, not saying it doesn't exist but this also poses another problem: What if the user isn't using FTB?

Crispy,
I see enable false all the fields in the "Gallery Integration" section, INCLUDING the fields "Enable Smiley?", "Enable Image Tag?" and so on...
