a few suggestions..

I am enjoying the core forums, and had a few suggestions:
• I would prefer the ability to add a role(s) to be a moderator, this would make my life tons easier..
• I would kindly and with respect suggest a complete overhaul of the 'add/remove' dialog popup. It is very unintuitive. If i don't get it, there will be few of my users who will understand it. It just doesn't work as expected. If i am hitting a dialog to select members, show me members, if i want to filter later, let me do so. This is just not working for me..

Other than that, thus far, i am really liking the module, thanks, drew..

Re: a few suggestions..

Thanks for the feedback drew.

The ability to assign moderators by roles is a future roadmapped item.

I am not sure where you issues are exactly w/ the popups.  I do think we need to have a pre-filter for many selections as most end users do not see most screens w/ these popup selectors.  Please remember that in a site like dnn.com, we have over 170k users and darn near 100 roles.  Whatever changes are made must be practical for sites this large.

Re: a few suggestions..
thanks and i hear you regarding the # of roles issue (i have quite a few as well).. My point was not clear: go to a forum, hit search, hit the add/remove dialog for "Search In". Imagine yourself a new user, with little knowledge of dnn. What would you do next? The dialog does not work as intended. There are countless forums out there with examples of a more intuitive approach. I am just politely suggesting a revisit to this functionality. cheers, drew..
