Critical Error - Object reference not set to an instance of an object
A critical error has occurred.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I have been trying for about 4 days to get into these forums.  I tried from three different computers at three different locations.  Same error everywhere.

This morning, I tried to login to DNN first and it finally worked.

Re: Critical Error - Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Steve,

FYI: we've been dogfooding the latest version of DotNetNuke here for the past few days, and that is one of the issues that showed up. There's been some changes made to support language switching, but part of the code was assuming an authenticated user. The fixes have been made, we just haven't deployed the latest version to the dotnetnuke.com site.

Re: Critical Error - Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Thanks for the reply!  I thought I was going crazy, everywhere I went I got errors.  I posted something similar on the other forums and noone replied with a answer that made sense.

Really looking forward to the new version of dnn, forums and gallerys.  The current version don't seem to work well together.

You may want to post something on the other site.

Thanks

Steve

Re: Critical Error - Object reference not set to an instance of an object
Please get this fixed asap! I am running into this problem for my site as well, and I got peeps screaming at me to get this resolved. Can a team member explain what the issue is, is it resolved internally? When will a release be available?

The next release is this week, this will resolve this.  The problems are the way things are loaded in the page and control life cycle.
