BUG: Extra BR tags inserted when working with lists

To reproduce, just create a simple page with two items.  When you save the doc the first time, you get:

  • Item 1

  •

  • Item 2

  •

Save again and you get:

  • Item 1

  •

  • Item 2

  •

I tried this same steps on the standard text/html module and the problem doesn't happen.  It leads me to think this is a bug in the WIKI module?

Re: BUG: Extra BR tags inserted when working with lists

That was a bug in the wiki module version 4.0.1 however is has been solved in 4.1.0 which is now available for download and is bundled in the 4.9.0 core release.

Re: BUG: Extra BR tags inserted when working with lists

I just updated to 4.1.0 and that fixed the problem under IE (by doing some funny jscript manipulation prior to saving.. ).  However, under firefox 2.0.16, the problem still persists :/  Does anyone know if the problem still persists in Firefox 3?   Work has strict policy on installing new applications unless there's a specific reason to do so...

Thanks!

Re: BUG: Extra BR tags inserted when working with lists

Thats sounds like a cache issue, You might want to clear the firefox cache. ALso reentering the infor in to the topic should get rid of any extra breaks

Were the issues you are seeing in the WYSIWYG mode, or in the Basic Text mode of the text editor?
