Issue to call .bat file

I am a newbie in vb.net/asp.net.
Kindly wanna ask,

aspx.vb <--- this language is consider as vb.net or asp.net?
I meet a problem like this.

I create a form. That form allows user to key in information. After key in all the information, click the submit button, and all the information will write in text file with embaded scripts in .scp format.

The batch file is actually call the .scp to run. This 2 parts should b no problem.

But the problem now is...I cant execute the batch file in vb/asp.net.

I tried to use Shell(), it takes whole day to respone...so i ignore it.
I also tried use System.Diagnostic.Process, it likes not work.

Any expert here?Need some guides here.

Big Thanks in advance!
