Re: DNNMenu ([NAV]) Documentation???

Probably the closest doc to what your looking for is this one.

Thanks for posting to my thread!  :)

I found that doc, but it doesn't list all of the public properties and expected/default values like the skinning guide does with all of the other Skin Objects.  This is essential to all skinners, as our only avenue left without it is posting to this forum and keeping our fingers crossed that someone has already figured it out and replies.  Or...  Look through the source code and figure it out.  Most skinners are designers, not programmers, so this is not a good option.  :(

Are there any possibilities of updating the Skinning Guide in the near future to include the new Skin Objects?

Re: DNNMenu ([NAV]) Documentation???

I'm with you on this Will,

DotNetNuke documentation in general is shockingly bad. There is so much conflicting information. And a great deal of the documentation is gobbdedigook written that is incomprehensible to beginners. Having gone around in circles for days I can't find anything that helps me get started with the Nav menu. That document reccomended above apears to be written in a dialect of Klingon.

Uuuurrrrrrrghhhh!

Re: DNNMenu ([NAV]) Documentation???

Perhaps this video is more in line on what you are looking for.

The problem with documentation is that it takes time and generally speaking the programmers writing the code are not the best ones to try and write non-programmer documentation.  If anyone wants to take a stab and documentation feel free, I will gladly provide the person the technical insights.
