How to get ID's of selected items in DNNTextSuggest

Hi,

I implement this control in my project based on this(http://www.adefwebserver.com/DotNetNukeHELP/DNNTextSuggest/) tutorial and it works fine, but I've a problem. I don't know how to get ID's of selected items. I want to use this control instead of listbox for selecting multiple items and save ID's items in database.

Thank you for your time,

Re: How to get ID's of selected items in DNNTextSuggest

It depends on how you want the control to function.  The design of the control is to allow for a suggestion for an item, not necessarily the same thing as a listbox.  This means that you will always need to support the scenario where someone types in a value and clicks search/go.   On the server the idea would be to do the same lookup the client call does and if only one match is found do something.  The control does support the concept of an ID Token, which will ship the ID to the server when selected.  You can play with how this works by looking at this sample.
