Changing containertitle directly with special chars

Hi :)
When you change the container title directly (one click on the container title) with special characters (in my case æ, ø, å), those get truncated. The collation on the sql server is set to international standard, so I can't see a conversion problem in the update.

While I'm on the subject, over to something completely different: is there a content localization roadmap somewhere?

With kind regards,
Bonavox

Re: Changing containertitle directly with special chars
Sorry for the delay in responding.  I will hopefully free up some time tomorrow to look into this.  If not, first thing next week.

Re: Changing containertitle directly with special chars

You can fix this issue by opening up your dnn.xmlhttp.js file (found in the js folder) and locate this line.

sURL += '__DNNCAPISCI=' + sControlId + '&__DNNCAPISCP=' + escape(sArg);

Change it to

sURL += '__DNNCAPISCI=' + sControlId + '&__DNNCAPISCP=' + encodeURIComponent(sArg);

I will be making a few changes to the way callbacks work in the next release of DNN, including this one.
