Re: Method missing in latest WebControls?

Sounds like VS can't location or have access to the dotnetnuke.webcontrols.dll.  Have you verified the file is referenced by your project?

Re: Method missing in latest WebControls?
Hi Jon, yes, I've referenced both the WebUtility and Webcontrols, de-referenced then rerefernced to make sure...

Still won't see the webcontros in my DNN451 installation.

Here's my other post on this:
http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/111/threadid/164679/scope/posts/Default.aspx

I really have no idea. Everything is pointing where it should - at least the DNN is working but my module(s) with the webcontrols as well as the HELP module, will NOT render, display, find, parse ... whatever... anything to do with the WebControls.

I'd appreciate some ideas on where this is going wrong.

THANKS!

Re: Method missing in latest WebControls?

All I can suggest is trying what you are doing on another machine.  If it works there, then something is wrong with your machine.

Re: Method missing in latest WebControls?
Jon, this is really odd.

I have a dev site in DNN337 on the same machine and all works just fine, including the Webcontrols.
My testing and production sites in DNN337 have no issues (on different machines).

The DNN451 dev site also works just fine EXCEPT the Webcontrols and thus a couple of my modules as well as the HELP module...

Very strange indeed.

If you think of anything else, please let me know.
I'm sure a path is wrong somewhere just cannot figure out where...!

Thanks

Lindsay
